sweet treats

the thing is that,

i love sugar. 

mostly in baked form. i'm not so hot about candy, soda or sweet drinks, but 

i LOVE me some cookies, pies, cakes, donuts...you get the picture.

i didn't have a lot of time this valentine's day to make anything fancy, so 

i decided to use up the jar of lemon curd that's been sitting in my pantry (before the expiration date!)

to make lemon-strawberry tarts.

don't you love to say tarts?

it reminds me of Alice in Wonderland,

which makes me think of tea,

which makes me think of scones, 

which brings me back to...the deliciousness of tarts.

so there you go.

 

note:

"assembling" was not as much fun as making something from scratch,

and my tarting needs help (see haphazard strawberry toppings).
