the green monster.
i first heard about it from some friends,
although i'm pretty sure they were simply doing their thing and hadn't heard about the bandwagon yet.
then, i read about it here on this cool girl's blog.
then, i decided to give it a try myself:
making up my own recipe:
1 banana
2 Tbsp. ground flax seeds
1/2 an apple
1 spoonful peanut butter (gotta have SOME fat/protein!)
ice
as much baby spinach as will fit in your blender
soy milk
serves 2!
it's delicious! and green! who doesn't want to drink green things?
but, it still needs more protein i think.
and next time i'll leave out the ice.
cold smoothie + morning = sad tummy.
