vina borgia. 

i'm not a big wine drinker, even though i have many fond

memories of evenings of wine and cards 

at the grandparents' over Thanksgiving.

i can't even really drink much, 

owing to an allergy to alcohol, 

but sometimes, i like to drink some

anyways. usually, i'm disappointed, 

since i can't exactly afford the "really good" 

wines. but this Spanish wine was really nice

and surprisingly so, considering its price tag! ($8)

good surprises are so nice.

the way to my heart

a sweet surprise celebration.

even though i've beat this valentine's day to death, i'm going to tribute the sweetness of surprises.

for the record, jazz and i typically like to mark any celebration/anniversary/datenight/plans with a big fight.

yes, that's how we operate.

so i've kind of learned not to have expectations for these kinds of things. 

and i think that's partly why this day was so nice - it was all a surprise.

Monday, i came home from a very long day to three wonderful surprises:

dinner

flowers

a bubble bath. complete with flower petals!

it was lovely. (i really love the bath.)
