crispy, crunchy, crackily fall recap

 a whole free weekend?

well, mostly.

i finally started getting up early

to write first thing in the morning. so far 

it's helped with my so-called writer's block

(i.e. laziness). 

on sat. morning, lars and i saw the most gorgeous

fall leaves—hot pink and orange and persimmon.

i wished i had my camera.

we visited our neighborhood coffee shop twice, 

it was so lovely. i definitely could spend some

hours writing there one of these days. 

we also spent a lot of time sleeping, too much

time in traffic trying to find kitchen table chairs, 

and not enough time outside, but it was so relaxing. 

now i'm going to spend the

last of my free weekend watching a movie,

before my 10:30 bedtime. 

this weekend:

sat. morning coffee run

the library, our neighborhood coffee shop

just along for the ride

sun night dessert treat

better than a donut:)

weekend in atl:

in which there was lots of alon's 

(i know, typical:), lars getting to meet

(and lick) lots of new people, a brief lunch in

Decatur, really good weather, lunch outside at

parq, which is almost exactly like the pizza

restaurant that used to be there (is it the same 

with a new name?), where we enjoyed yummy

food, and relaxing to the max. sometimes

that's the best thing to do when you're on 

vacation. i can't believe i have to go to 

japan to see her next ... i think i can 

handle that ;)

so many reasons to be grateful for this weekend: 

1. making chinese food our new Sunday tradition

2. adding the in-laws for lunch

3. a frozen yogurt date last night

4. playing hide-n-seek with the pup-pup after bath time

(and how he tried to save me by growling 

at another dog who was jumping on me earlier)

5. enjoying the Triune God in the Psalms as the water of life flowing 

out from eternity to quench our thirst (Psa. 72:6, 8, 46:4)

memorial day weekend.

we've been busy this weekend,

and i'm trying to eke out time to do 

schoolwork, too. i know it'll all come together - 

just.one.more.week. 

so this weekend has been full of:

1. family

2. old Mr. Bean episodes

3. reading, reading, reading

4. really hot weather

5. being too tired to study

 

I wish it were Sunday
