and all that Jazz

#9

Woohoo! Survived my first week of school! No, that's not what I'm celebrating. But it had to be said.
Today, let's do a dance for Jazz' beautiful, new Clarinet. He's been wanting one for ages, ever since he borrowed a friend's to make the music for a little independent film in Austin. I used to think that clarinets were wimpy little girl's instruments. (I'll admit it, I'm musically ignorant). But I have to say, it sure makes a sexy sound. I'm beyond impressed that he taught himself to play it.

As a gift to himself for his impending 30th birthday, he bought this beautiful thing:

I hope that means there will be lots of serenading around the house from now on.
 P.S. Isn't Jazz handsome? :)

That's so awesome! It IS a great serenading instrument (except when it squeaks). I played the clarinet for a few years in middle school. My parents made me and I had little appreciation for it at the time. Wish I would've stuck with it. This is very inspirational though, thanks for posting!

  2. Jason looks very cool. I had no idea he played. That is a beautiful clarinet. My brother had one. It didn't look anything like that.
