my friend, yawei. 

who happens to be an extraordinary artist, 

one of my absolute personal favorites. 

even though she's much cooler (and talented) than me, we met and became friends in 2004.

here are just a few of my favorite pieces of hers from that time,

which was one of (if not the) best times in my life. 

i love everything about these sketches.

they are: simple, honest, imaginative, emotional and meaningful. 

plus, her color technique, style and sense of story are so unique and personal. 

i love it. (and her).
