well we went to the park yesterday without our coats, and so i thought i should post these photos from the past week or so of the (hopefully) last of our cabin fever. i realized as i watched my one-year-old and my two-year-old digging happily in the sand under a cool breeze and sunny blue sky, we missed a whole year of this last year, because i had a newborn and i just wasn't up for braving anything for a long time. i felt kind of bad for wilder that last year might not have been all that much fun for him, but hopefully we will make it all up this year. also, since today it became spring (technically i think we still have another month of winter?), we can expect summer to arrive like tomorrow, so we are definitely going to be soaking up as much outside time as we can while it's pleasant!
truly though, i have not minded spending so much time cooped up with these little people this winter. not one little bit. i almost wish i could go back and relive them right now! whoever invents the time machine is going to make all my dreams come true.
